During open registration teams from all over the world are enabled to register for the Hungarian competition. In the second phase registration speed is the only thing that matters, therefore everyone has the same chance to get into Formula Student Hungary.

As in the last few years only the quickest teams could get a starter position since half of the teams that registered in the 7th second missed the opportunity to participate in Formula Student Hungary.

From the total amount of the 114 teams only 44 teams got starter position. Teams that could not get a slot in the second phase are getting a position on the waiting list where from they can receive a starting spot if a registered team withdraws from participation.
