Jenson Button discovers FSUK
Jenson Button, 2009 Formula 1 World Champion visited the UK round of Formula Student at Silverstone. In his role as Santander Ambassador, he came to support the 11 teams that are funded by the Santander Universities programme.
Jenson was treated to meeting each of the 11 teams, where he gave advice and feedback to the young engineers as well as signing their cars for extra luck. Jenson also opened the Sprint event and took part in a Panel discussion along with Rob Smedley, David Croft, Gemma Hatton (Racecar Engineering’s Deputy Editor!) and Prof Karen Holford.
