The Final of AOTV 2015 – standing for station

At station 1, the technical trainer of Autonet (Autonet Import Hungary Kft.), János Ruzsa, carried out automotive power measurements with students at a Volvo car. The examination of the common-rail system is very current today, and most of the students have performed their tasks that cannot be called simple.

At station 2, Tamás Bödök of DDC Duex Kft. asked the competitors about their climate service knowledge and the students also carried out practical tasks with the Bosch ACS511 climate service machine. Despite the fact that the students do not often meet with a climate service machines in schools, the competitors are well prepared for the climate tasks and have achieved good scores at the station.

Garagent Autóteszt Hungary Kft. gave station 3, which made it difficult for students to do a complex diagnostic task, and after repairing the “malfunction” of the test vehicle, they had to make a TPMS sensor cloning. There was no such task at school, but the half-hour station time proved to be sufficient for fast learning and problem solving, so this station was characterized by over 80% performance.

The next stand was Sza-Co’s station. It was a practical task to balance a wheel fitted with a steel and a light alloy wheel. The use of the OCT wheel balancing machine was picked up by a few students and there were some who had run out of time, so they couldn't finish the task, but overall, the team had a good score.

Fer-Vill's station 5 was favored by automotive electrification engineers, where competitors had to carry out an untrained test of a starter motor and load a generator on the U400 bench.

The 2T M Kft. in Győrzámoly brought a commercial vehicle engine to the test, which had to perform control geometric measurements on the cylinder bore, drive shaft, piston and piston rings, as well as to classify the parts as they could be installed or replaced.

Puma Tools (Puma Bridge Bt.) is one of the largest tool vendors in the Hungarian service centers, and as a 7th station it has measured the students' tool use knowledge. The 3-member troops had to remove a stuck CR injector with the Pichler pick-up, have an elastic strap removed and fitted with a target tool, and had to carry out a cylinder head tightening process.
